Event Management interns focus on both the nuts and bolts of the event management, as well as the marketing side of the event.  Interns will be able to see every detail of an event come to fruition.  Duties include, but are not limited to: logistics, participant services, volunteer recruitment & management, vendor order, grassroots outreach, entertainment and general support. All interns will receive a monthly stipend.

Seasonal Part-time Event Warehouse & Crew Position

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking team member to support our event operations. This role involves working in the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, driving box trucks to event sites, and working events. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties

· Organize, prep, and maintain event equipment in the warehouse

· Pull equipment for upcoming events based on packing lists

· Inspect equipment for damage and report issues

· Keep warehouse clean, safe, and organized

Truck Loading & Unloading

· Must have fork-lift experience

· Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely

· Secure equipment properly for transport

· Assist with inventory tracking before and after events

Driving Responsibilities

· Drive box trucks to and from event locations

· Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures

· Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for use

· Report any vehicle maintenance issues

Event Crew Duties

· Assist with event setup and breakdown (tents, tables, chairs, staging, décor, etc.)

· Work events

· Work as part of a team to meet event timelines

· Provide on-site support as needed during events

Requirements

· Valid driver’s license (clean driving record preferred)

· Fork-Lift Certification

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor

· Comfortable working long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Strong work ethic and positive attitude

· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

· Prior event, warehouse, or delivery experience is a plus

· Dependable and punctual

· Physically fit and safety-minded

· Good communication skills

· Flexible and adaptable in fast-changing environments

Work Environment

· Warehouse, outdoor event sites, and loading docks

· Fast-paced, physically active role

· Varying weather conditions during events

Drive truck to event, work event, drive truck back to warehouse unload truck, organize/clean equipment and return truck

 

May 15, Friday-Ride up to Cleveland and set up for event

May 16, Saturday—Cleveland 5K/10K-work event  

May 17, Sunday— Cleveland Marathon and Half Marathon

Cleveland, OH- work event and ride home

October 16, Friday-drive to STL and set-up

October 17, Saturday—Light the Night---St Louis, MO-Work event

October 18, Sunday-site clean up and drive back to warehouse
