Ghosts & Goblins & Monsters, OH MY! Don’t let the ghosts and goblins scare you from running this October! Join us for the 3rd annual Monster Run on October 17, 2015! This Wicked 5 Miler, Goose Bump Filled 5K and Frightfully Fun Kids’ Run will have your whole family running through the scenic Whitnall Park in your most creative Halloween costume (optional). Timing prizes will be awarded for top runners in the 5 Miler and 5K, along with prizes for the best costumes.
This family friendly event will also feature a Kids’ Run and Family Fun Area with games, photo opportunities and wicked fun. 5 Miler and 5K finishers will receive a spook-tacular tech t-shirt! After the race, sit back and enjoy the festive scenery with devilishly delicious post-race treats and witches brew (aka beer), for registered participants over 21, and other!

Shuttles will be available at the Macy's entrance of Southridge Mall to take to race site. They will run from 2:30 - 7:00 PM.
Note: THIS IS THE ONLY AVAILABLE PARKING. NO PARKING AT THE PARK OR ON THE PARKWAY.
The start & finish line are about a half mile from the parking lot, so you can get warmed up and walk here as well!
The Wickedly Wild 5 Miler, Goose Bump Filled 5K and the Frightfully Fun Kids' Run courses will start and finish in Whitnall Park and will incorporate the botanical gardens. Two water stations will be present during the 5 Miler, as well as one water station during the 5K. There will also be water available at the Start and Finish Line. Mile markers and clocks will be displayed at each mile.

Q. What is the 'Creep Me Out' costume contest?
A. Do you think you have the most creative, family-friendly costume? Prove it! Wear your favorite creative costume to the race, take photos and send them to the Monster Run Facebook page for your chance to win a fantastic prizes.

Q. What are the award divisions?
A. Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female prizes will be awarded. There are no age group awards.
Awards will be handed to the winners at the finish line.
Q. Is there an age limit?
A. No! Bring the whole family.
Q. Are strollers or dogs permitted?
A. Strollers and dogs are not permitted.
Q. May walkers participate?
A. Yes! You will be able to start at the back of the race pack.
Q. I have a friend who cannot participate in the event. Can I take his/her place?
A. Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race officials must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else's registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy.
Q. Can I get a refund or transfer?
A.There are no refunds or transfers for Monster Run.
