Ghosts & Goblins & Monsters, OH MY! Don’t let the ghosts and goblins scare you from running this October! Join us for the 3rd Annual Monster Run on October 17, 2015! This Wicked 5 Miler, Goose Bump Filled 5K and Frightfully Fun Kids’ Run will have your whole family running through the scenic Hart Park in Wauwatosa in your most creative Halloween costume (optional). Timing prizes will be awarded for top runners in the 5 Miler and 5K, along with prizes for the best costumes.

This family friendly event will also feature a Kids’ Run and Family Fun Area with games, photo opportunities and wicked fun. 5 Miler and 5K finishers will receive a spook-tacular t-shirt! After the race, sit back and enjoy the festive scenery with devilishly delicious post-race treats and witches brew (aka beer), for registered participants over 21, and other!

Monster Run

 

COURSE INFO

The Wickedly Wild 5 Miler, Goose Bump Filled 5K and the Frightfully Fun Kids' Run courses will start and finish in Hart Park, and will incorporate the Village of Wauwatosa and Honeycreek Parkway. Two water stations will be present during the 5 Miler, as well as one water station during the 5K. There will also be water available at the Start and Finish Line. Mile markers and clocks will be displayed at each mile.

Fall Festival

The fun doesn't stop once you cross the Monster Run finish line. Hart Park will transform into a Fall Festival featuring pumpkin carving, a post-race Wienie Roast, Witches Brew (for big kids 21 and older), a movie screening of "Hotel Transylvania" and the great pumpkin lighting, Charlie Brown!

A. Online registration for Monster Run will close on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11:59 PM CST. Paper registration forms must be postmarked by Friday, October 9, 2015. Packet Pick-Up & Race Day registration will be available.

A. The Kids' Costume Contest is open to kids age 12 and younger.  Judging begins at 3:00pm.  The Adult Costume Contest is open to those in disguise age 13 and older, with judging underway at 4:00pm.

Q. I have a friend who cannot participate in the event. Can I take his/her place?

A. Each participant must have his/her own registration. In the event of an emergency, race officials must have emergency contact information on hand, therefore you are NOT allowed to participate using someone else's registration. There are NO exceptions to this policy.
