The St.Vincent Cancer Run/Walk Challenge is a 10 Mile & 5K Run/Walk that will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016, beginning at 7:30 a.m. in Zionsville Lions Park.You can INSPIRE HOPE for men, women and children facing Cancer! Each year, more than 30,000 Hoosiers are diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, there are places like St.Vincent Cancer Care that are there to provide hope for patients and families before, during and after their battle. We achieve this not only through a variety of life-saving treatments options but also through holistic healing of the body, mind and spirit. This year you have an opportunity to help us, help them by participating in the St.Vincent Cancer Run/Walk Challenge.
Before the rubber of the plane tires hit the runway let the rubber of your shoes embark on the take-off of a lifetime! The 5K course will take participants onto the runway at the center of one of the busiest airfields in the world, with the thrilling sights and sounds of planes taking off and landing nearby.
Lace up your witch boots for The Children's Museum of Indianapolis 2nd Annual Black Hat Dash. Saturday, October, starting and finishing at The Children's Museum. Lots of Halloween fun and entertainment. Participants are invited to take a walk through the opening of The Children's Museum Guild's 52nd Annual Haunted House: "Creepy Carnival" immediately following the fun!
RUN(317) is a celebration of the local culture, diversity and unique aspects of Indianapolis. The event includes a series of 3.17 mile runs/walks throughout the most cultural and celebrated places in the (317) Broad Ripple (June), Mass Ave (September) and Fountain Square (October), followed by a post-race party featuring local beer, food and entertainment. As a continued Milwaukee Thanksgiving Day Family Tradition, the Drumstick Dash benefitting Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is a can’t miss event for the holiday season. The Drumstick Dash 5K presented by Sendik's Food Market is a 3.1 mile run/walk open to all ages. The 4th Annual event, on November 26, 2015 had over 3,200 participants raced around Miller Park raising more than $10,000 and 2.5 tons of food for the hungry in Eastern Wisconsin. That’s 40,000 meals for the hungry in Eastern Wisconsin!
